Winchester Round Table 63 – mens social group in Hampshire

Winchester Round Table is open to applications to join as a prospective member to any man aged 18-45 in the Winchester area.

What you give

We welcome members committed to the Round Table ethos.

This means bringing your professional abilities and skills to Table work in Winchester, and giving up a bit of your spare time, not just for the amazing socials we run, but for the year-round work we do to give back to Winchester.

But just an important: it means you’ll have an incredible time too!

Charity and community

You’ll be ready to take an active role in Winchester’s biggest firework and bonfire display, giving up spare evenings and weekends in October and November to assist our High Street stand and drop programmes. You’ll help build the bonfire on the display weekend and be assigned a role to make the display happen on the night.

You’ll be joining us on evenings in December to help us with Santa Sleigh, our annual drive around Winchester’s neighbourhoods to raise money for local good causes.

You’ll be lending a hand to Community Services throughout the year, building and setting up new initiatives for Winchester’s charities, delivering Christmas food parcels and stepping up to our Challenge Table activities, plus have a hand in the running of the annual Peddle Paddle Pace triathlon in the city.

Contributions

You’ll make a monthly deposit every month to pay for Table running costs and topping up your account to pay for events and activities you go along to.

What you get

You’ll join a group of friends in Winchester like no other.

We have a year-round calendar of activities taking place every other Tuesday, including dinner and pub evenings plus days out around Hampshire such as fly fishing, laser clay shooting and kayaking. You’ll even organise your own Tabler night with your fellow new members.

Our members support and look out for each other. We all have busy work lives and in many cases families to look after, and you don’t have attend every single Table activity or meeting.

Events

You’ll join us on special events including our AGM, business meetings, Thank You Night (for partners of tablers) and many more.

You can join us on our annual Euro meeting, traveling to one of our fellow Round Tables from around the world for an unforgettable weekend.

A lot of our members have families; you’re welcome to get your family take part in Table activities too, with special events including days out and weekends away, kid-friendly parties and more.

Experience

You’ll have the opportunity to join the Winchester Round Table committee, taking a year-round role in administration, programmes, marketing or as Chairman of Winchester Round Table, Bonfire & Fireworks or Santa Sleigh.

IWinchester Round Table is open to applications to join as a prospective member to any man aged 18-45 in the Winchester area.
