Who we are

We’re a group of guys who live in the Winchester area of Hampshire, meet at least twice a month and make a difference to the city and surrounding area.

Members are men aged 18 to 45 who want to use their professional skills for charity work, meet new friends and do more in life. This year Winchester Round Table will be celebrating its 90th anniversary.

We are part of the Round Table movement, which has formed fellowships and community charitable organisations like ours in locations across the UK and around the world.

What we do

We’re the driving force behind some of the city’s greatest annual fundraising events.

We have organised the annual charity Winchester Bonfire & Fireworks for 65 years. We also run Winchester Santa Sleigh, helping Santa visit neighbourhoods across the city every Christmas.

This year, we will take over the organisation of running the Pedal Paddle Pace, the unique triathlon across the city.

We meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month, either for business meetings or for relaxed social events.

Round Table family

Winchester 41 Club is the association of ex-Round Tablers to continue the friendships after the official Table retirement age.

Winchester Ladies Circle is open to any woman age 18-45.

Tangent is for past members of Ladies Circle.

The Round Table

Winchester Round Table is part of the international Round Table movement, with groups set up across the UK and around the world.

Our city is home to the Round Table, the large rondel hanging the Great Hall in our city and bearing the names of various knights of King Arthur’s court. The table was designed during the reign of Edward I.

Winchester Round Table isn’t associated with the Great Hall’s table; the design of the table was adopted for the logo used by Round Tables worldwide.
